Tracer tears off one of Bale Spear's front attachment. HiJinx delivered a final shot to Tracer when upside down, but without a srimech, it was counted out in very similar fashion to its previous fight. The fight did not last long, with Tracer attacking HiJinx's tail, making contact with the blade and flipping over.

This fight was not shown in full during the regular season, and was uploaded among the Basement Tapes. Tracer's second match was against fellow newcomers HiJinx. With no self-righting mechanism and its rear wheels off the arena floor, Tracer was counted out, giving Ribbot the win by KO. However, this didn't hinder Ribbot all that much and Tracer was quickly flipped over. Tracer started off rather well as they were able to take a chunk off of Ribbot's right front tire as the rest fell off shortly after. Tracer's first match of the season was against the modular frog bot of Ribbot. Ribbot drives away as Tracer is flipped upside down. The team itself is partly from Sacramento CA and McKinney TX. Team captain Jason Woods actually competed eleven years ago with his middleweight Slingshot, which the team have in their garage, but it isn't battle-ready. However, team captain Jason Woods joined JackPot's team for the 2021 season. Tracer didn't perform any better in Bounty Hunters, losing in the first round of both brackets it was in.įor unknown reasons, Tracer didn't compete in Season 6.

Tracer didn't do well in its debut season, losing two of its three matches due to the lack of a self-righting mechanism. While the front armor is very strong to protect the front wheels, it has been shown it can't run inverted nor self-right due to the shipping time, but Tracer did have skids for invertibility, a self-righting arm planned, and a horizontal configuration. The other minibot was called Clean Cut, due to being made from a robotic vacuum, modified to have an angle grinder inside with a sawblade, although this minibot was destroyed in its first match. One of which was called Needle, equipped with two long lifting prongs to hoist robots up and drive them around into hazards or Tracer's disc. Tracer could also bring in a minibot of their choice. It is a four-wheel driven, white, blue, and black robot armed with an asymmetrical vertical disc spinner. Tracer is a heavyweight robot that competed in the fifth season of the BattleBots reboot on Discovery.
